‘Blind Creations’ Art-Making Workshop
Led by artist and educator David Johnson
Sunday 28th June, 10am-12:30
Management Building
Royal Holloway
Free of Charge for Conference Delegates
In this practical art-making workshop, sighted and blind participants will use alternative sensory stimulation to create art works which express their understanding of the links between blindness and creativity. The workshop will encourage participants to explore their inner visualisations in conceptually and visually challenging ways and will allow conference participants to think about the relationships between blindness and (visual) art before visiting the conference’s art exhibition later in the day.
